This was one awesome weekend. We were busy but home so it wasn’t so bad.
You know, the typical weekend…Brian building a desk, Me cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc. Eh em…yup, I said Brian built a desk. I have one talented hubby.
I am sure you are all familiar with pintrest by now. Well I am obsessed.
We have been looking for months for a desk for the living room. We realized that we want to sit side by side as we each have our own computer. Well in searching high and low on pintrest this is what I found.

I knew I would never be able to buy what I wanted. We decided it would cost just as much to build exactly what we want for less than it would cost to buy something we don’t love. We came in under budget. The cost was higher than I thought but that was only because we had to buy the tool.
Its everything I wanted and more.
He did it over the weekend. We still have to paint it but for now its perfect.
I can’t stop staring at it. I am in love with a desk if possible.
I also attempted to be creative as well.
Again, the idea came from Pintrest. I saw a wine cork letter somewhere on Pintrest. I asked my friends and family to save their wine corks for me. So after a few months I “thought” I had enough to get started.
I had to have a glass while working on it!
Turns our I didn’t have enough to finish. I am a little less than 3/4 of the way done.
All I did was cut a B out from cardboard and go crazy with the hot glue gun. I hope to finish soon. I found out you can actually buy wine corks at Michaels. I may just do that so I can finish.
Take a look at my big guy who wants to be like all the other kids and sit on the stools.
