Photography…where do I begin?
I think of photography as a way to express my view of the world. Most pictures are of my kids but they are what I love most in this world. I love to have my whole life documented and will continue to do so for as long as I live.
Am I a professional photographer? NOPE, not by a long shot. Would I love to be a professional photographer, YES!!! With all of my being. Will I be a professional photographer some day? YES, with out a doubt.
For now its my hobby. I have more important things to do than start up a business. I have two boys to raise. They are my focus now and I couldn’t imagine taking attention away from them for a second. I do however take pictures for families and friends here and there.
I have started a photography page to introduce myself and the future HB Photography company.
I shoot on a Canon Rebel xTi. Its totally time to upgrade but with two small children and being a single income family its just not in the cards right now. I will make do with what I have.
I have three lenses. The kit 18-55mm which I never use. Its has been in my bag for a very long time. I have a 70-200mm. I use that outside. Its an amazing zoom lens. I do not use it as much as I would like and sort of wish I had gotten a different lens. I thought at the time I needed it and would use it more. Last but certainly not least…my 50mm 1.8f. My love!!!! I use this 98% of the time and am so happy with it. Its the perfect lens for me. I have a huge wish list of lenses. I would love the 24-70mm 2.8f but if I have $1200.00 to spend on a lens, I will be upgrading my body first.
Photography is such an expensive hobby. It will take me the rest of my life to complete my collection. Email me if you have questions or would like me to take your picture.
